Best episode of the show so far.
In terms of which episode did the most for the series in general, I’d point to the reveal episode coming later on. In terms of which episode was the superior self-sufficient whole, this is the obvious choice.
KyoAni simply cannot stray away from what the so-called “fanboys” want to see from them. I didn’t mind this episode though that may be because KyouKana is nothing special to me. It’s not bad.
I thought it was a very good episode because while being well executed fanservice, it also served as a bonding episode for the entire team before the shit hits the fan.
